A Crane NVQ is all about proving you’ve got the skills and knowledge to safely and efficiently operate or supervise cranes. It’s designed for people working with cranes in construction or logistics and covers things like health and safety, risk assessments, and keeping your equipment in top condition. This qualification shows you’re up to industry standards and can help you take the next step in your career.

This will vary for each NVQ, but typically examples of workplace evidence which you can provide are:
•Toolbox talks
• RAMS
• Drawings
• Briefings
• Checklists
• Equipment certificates

To apply for a Blue CPCS Card you need to have a relevant level 2 or higher NVQ qualification for your role and have completed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test (HS&E).
